Geomjeungham: Review Signals for News and Captions
Geomjeungham is a local Chrome extension prototype that marks expressions and claim candidates worth reviewing in news articles and open YouTube captions. It does not declare content fake news or block it automatically.

Can a tool help identify what needs further review without conflating factual verification with rhetorical or manipulation signals?
Approach
Its default local rules inspect public HTTPS articles and captions already open in the page without external transfer. A user can collapse or restore marked paragraphs and compare claim candidates with excerpts they provide. Optional Jev analysis requires separate consent each time.
Artifact and current status
The current artifact is a Chrome extension prototype that has not yet been installed in a user’s Chrome or released in the Chrome Web Store. Local fixture tests and native installation verification are distinct.
Limits and what is not verified
No marker does not guarantee truth, and model confidence is not a probability that something is true. A result that conflicts with supplied evidence does not establish that source’s reliability. It does not review video, audio, thumbnails, or editing, and accuracy or false-positive rates have not been measured against a real news answer set.
